Thank you for visiting Howler. The following information sets out the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping/Delivery Policy.
Processing your Order
An email confirmation containing your order summary, delivery method and shipping address is sent to your email address after placing your order. Please keep this email as proof of your purchase.
Order Processing Time
Processing time refers to the time it takes for us to prepare your order for delivery.
After your payment is authorised and verified, all orders are processed within the 6-12 hours prior to courier pick up. We will contact you for some reason if there are any delays, usually related to equipment malfunction, supplier shortage or delays.
Delivery Locations

Domestic Only: We currently only deliver to the following locations:
Melbourne Metro, Geelong, Mornington, Gippsland, Yarra Valley, Mansfield, Ballarat, Sydney Metro, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong, Newcaslte, Canberra, Adelaide Metro, Brisbane Metro, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast.
Delivery Rates and Delivery Estimates
We endeavour to to get your order to you as soon as possible. Once your order is placed, an estimated delivery time will be provided to you. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of dispatch from our facility, rather than date of order.
Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to acceptance and approval of your order. Estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed. Weather, traffic delays and other unforeseen circumstances may impact delivery time.
Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfil your order.
- Standard Deliveries:
Metro delivery time:7-9days, Regional delivery time: 9-14days
Standard Delivery is $15.
Orders over $150 get free shipping
Please Note:
- Business day means Monday - Friday except holidays.
- Orders are not delivered on Sundays and holidays.
- Date of delivery may vary due to courier availability, back up staff availability, delivery location, method of delivery and the items ordered.
- When placing your order, we consider these factors when calculating an Estimated Delivery Date.
- Due to city-wide lockdowns, road detours, traffic delays, weather conditions, and other uncontrollable circumstances, packages to and from our facility in Moolap, Victoria may be delayed. We truly appreciate your patience during this time.
- We will not be responsible for any wrong delivery address if you provide incorrect information.
Tracking Options
Howler aims to provide visibility and transparency throughout the dispatch and delivery process. Once your order is confirmed and dispatched, you will receive a notification via text or email informing you of your package leaving our facility and estimated delivery windows during the day when it may arrive.
- Domestic Only: All orders delivered within Australia automatically have delivery notifications available to customers.
Delivery Method
All packages are packed in refrigeration unit vans and trucks depending on the courier. Transporting in cool units will maintain product temperature freshness.
Deliveries are made directly to your door by a company courier, we kindly request a cooler box, eski, garage mini fridge, or at the very least a cooler bag be made available to us for easy storage of products, this is to ensure temperature maintenance, package integrity and overall quality of your order.
Damages
If there's any damage to the packaging during the delivery, contact us immediately at help@howlerpetfoods.com.au
Missing or Lost Package
There are several reasons why a package gets lost or becomes a delivery exception. We've found that, more often than not, the package is in your premises obscured from view or with a neighbour. Howler politely requests that customers look in common courier hiding spots or within the vicinity of your front yard, reception desk (for apartment complex), or security box (gated communities).
Please look around and let us know if you find it. If you haven't located your order, please contact us at help@howlerpetfoods.com.au to report it missing or lost and we'll guide you through what the next steps are.
